i have most of a programming degree, but i was just looking for a degree that would get me a job. i was a different person then, as i hadn't completely rejected capitalism or entirely embraced the futility of existence, yet. i was still deluding myself into thinking that i could exist within the system, somehow.
but, i was never a script kid. i was never a hacker. i was never a gamer. i've actually never taken a course in any sort of networking. so, your average gamer geek loser high school dropout has more knowledge and experience about firewalls and servers than i do or ever want to have.
but, i'm getting the same error in my catroot, again, so, i'm beginning to understand what's happening a little better. the windows update has actually not bothered me this time around, so that theory isn't working out. rather, it's clear that somebody is finding me on the internet and pushing something down.
my router had logging turned off. again: convenient.
but, i don't want to play games with this person, so what i'm going to do instead is start publishing the logfiles here, and ask somebody to take these people down for me.
the first one is google. one's from russia..? india....? they might be spoofed addresses. but, if somebody else wants to play this game, here's the first batch of data:
