and, what's been accomplished here is that nobody is talking about how canada isn't going to get anywhere close to meeting it's paris targets.
it almost seems like they're in cahoots, or something.
the term is obviously intended to be derogatory, but i actually think there's something kind of empowering about it. here's the thing, though: a real climate barbie would make sure her country meets the targets.

i'm wary of the gentrification, but detroit is meandering towards something that amazon could help them get to faster. and, the cross-border integration would be an asset.
i get the idea that they want an atlantic port city, though.
the answer in strict terms is 'no', because of taxation headaches. but detroit or niagara are at least abstract possibilities.
