i've become rather convinced that most of the synthesizer parts in the classic genesis records were played by david hentschel, and that brian eno was almost solely responsible for the ambient sections that dot genesis records through the mid 70s. this has ramifications for how i complete the super mega total genesis discography.

my understanding is that john burns was an engineer and that the lamb lies down on broadway should really say produced by brian eno. this would have actually been his first major production job, before the berlin trilogy, and even before his solo career even started.

mr. banks still has time to prove me wrong, but his solo material is distinctly lacking across the board.
