actually, i can feel the a/c now, maybe he just got home. i want to wait until it gets down to 26 in there.
canadian accents tend to correlate south rather than across the country. vancouverites are hard to distinguish from other pacific northwesterners, the canadian prairie accent is similar to the american one, northern ontarians sound like they could be from minnesota or northern michigan, southern ontarians sound like new yorkers, quebec is inapplicable (french) and easterners sound like they could be from maine....

avoids newfie joke.

we also align culturally. so, if you're standing in alberta and mostly integrate with rural american culture, you won't hear it - just as i don't hear mine in relation to a new yorker.

one of the many things that adblock can do is remove the entire comment section from youtube. good piece of software.

anyways, i don't watch this guy's videos or care about his content, but i was interested in how that would work out, and this option is certainly going to save his metrics while maintaining his sanity.

however, i would suggest something that more people ought to be using, and that's the blacklist in youtube. if you don't want people calling each other fags, you can put that word in your spam filter - and it will take it out. that's a dynamic struggle that will take some trial and error - and a comment base willing to expand it's vocabulary - but i'm sure a lot of the "bros" here that are a bit discouraged by the level of discourse would appreciate that implementation. it'd be nice if it got wider usage throughout youtube...

i think the issue here isn't the drugs, if there were even any involved, but the misogyny. my best guess is that he's emulating behaviour he's observed....
