drogo

drogo

born:
died: 1051
father: tancred d'hauteville [1]

william and drogo seem to have probably really been brothers. they were present in italy by 1035 at the latest. drogo became count of apulia upon william's death and successfully repelled the byzantine invasions. also lord of venosa. he appears to have been murdered by the byzantines, but humphrey is also a suspect.

it is said that drogo appointed both humphrey and robert guiscard as counts.

medieval salic (frankish) law on private property

you know, i just tossed a bag of garbage that's been hanging from my wall for weeks and there was literally nothing in it but empty bags of doritos, and a few other random wrappers. so, basically the only garbage i'm producing is from eating doritos.

i'm therefore going to stop eating doritos.
so, if wikipedia publishes a book of wikipedia entries, is it a valid source?
