so, i should just focus on finishing the clean for right now and get to doing things on friday.

i mentioned before that it's just a handful of papers left. really. then i can get back to a normal once a month cleaning routine...
i can find some clinics that are open, but the blood labs are closed, so i'll need to wait until friday, anyways.
you know, i thought everything was closed tomorrow, and everything is actually open. can i find a clinic open?
the reason this bill didn't pass is that the government didn't want to pass it.
the idea that the conservatives - who have 20 seats in the senate - were able to block the conversion therapy bill is absolute bullshit.

the liberals in the senate, whatever they call themselves nowadays, could have easily overruled the conservatives, had they decided to - and if they weren't stupidly split into competing factions.
is the heat wave in the west due to climate change? if so, why now?

over the last five or six years, we are at a low in the solar cycle, which meant that polar air was pushing down into north america, blocking some of the effects of the warming oceans. what you had was this epic battle, and the oceans generally won, but it kept the warming in check.

now, the solar cycle is entering an uptick, which is going to bottle up the cold air into the polar regions and allow the warming oceans to wreak havoc. and, these are the kinds of things we're going to see more often.

the solar cycle will flip back in time, but the damage may already be done, if the feedback cycles kick in.

so, this is the time frame that we actually have - 12 years or so. that's all we've got.
so, where was i?

i was finishing cleaning. that's step one, tonight - and it actually shouldn't take too long.
so, i slept all day again. i guess i needed a lot of rest.

it rained this morning, but i could have salvaged the second part of the day if i didn't sleep through it :(.

tomorrow's a stat holiday in canada, and i was hoping to get a lot of things done before it, but i was forced to sleep, instead. it could work out in my favour if i'm up bright and early on friday morning, as most people won't be.
