let me take a step back with the b5, because the rdi has actually changed.
so, this is the amount i have for each component, according to the usda:
1) banana - 0.5 mg, which is listed at 5% but is actually 10% [each, so 20% for 2]
2) strawberries - .075 mg, which is listed at 2% but is more like 1.5%.
3) avocado - 1.4 mg, which is listed at 14% but is actually 28%
4) kiwi .1 mg, which is listed as 1% but is actually 2%
5) soy milk - 15% on label, which is recent, so i'll take it at face value
6) cherry ice cream - .66 mg, which is listed as 5% but is actually 13% (and should be rounded down to 10%).
7) nutritional yeast data from label that looks recent. 1.5%.
8) vector cereal data from recent label, 19%.
9) ground flax seed is .1 mg, which is listed as 1% but is 2%.
====================================
99%
well, then.
so, that's the purpose of this update.
peppers: should say 10%
pasta: that amount is divided by 5 mg, so it is correct.
cheese: should say 5% the first time & 2.5% the second time
carrot: should say 4%
hemp: that number was divided by 5 mg and is correct
eggs: should say 42%!
bread: from label, recent. fine.
cheese: should say 2.5%
coffee: should say 40%. wow.
choc soy milk: from label, correct
that solves that problem.
and, i guess i need two bananas after all.
so, b5 is solved via user error. how 'bout that.
disclaimer:
i've gone to town with a few things - i'm not making up vitamins but rather filling things in. i mean, there's all these "missing vitamin names". what were they, exactly? it also gives me an excuse to work in a few things like choline that are hard to otherwise define as they are essential in some amount but not technically vitamins.
note that these numbers are scavenged and should be interpreted approximately. that's partly why i'm aiming to overshoot on most of it.
