the american people have to take responsibility in not holding their media outlets more accountable. there are organizations like fair that try and do this, but they often just don't win the argument.

but, there's a very special place for the media in the united states constitution. and, arguing that the media is the enemy of the people - rather than a tool necessary to hold the state accountable - is frightening, dystopic language.
