if i make it that long, i'm going to end up in one of those homes, and i'd want to request a room without air conditioning. i wouldn't want a clunky window machine ruining my window, either - i'd want it taken right out of there.

the focus by these facilities at this point in time should be to restrict the amount of shared air, not increase it. as such, i might call on people that have family in care to check on them and ask them if they'd like help installing a window unit, and for the owners of the facilities to ensure this is feasible.
