just read your kid science, instead.

the only thing i was ever read was dr. seuss, and it was pretty interactive.

my dad would take me to the library and get me to read to him; my grandmother would buy me books, and i'd read them to myself. and, i actually distinctly remember resenting being pandered to, when people tried to read things to me - as though i couldn't do it myself.
