i'm generally an advocate of indigenous rights claims, but i have no solidarity with self-regulated industries at all, and this is one of the few examples where i'd fully support a total crackdown, should they decide to get uppity.

the protesters are not behaving very well, and should be prosecuted for their behaviour, but they are also drawing attention to an extremely valid point: this industry should be regulated, and i'd call on the tribes to pull their heads out of their asses and figure it out.
