it's a strange time to call an election in bc, but i do agree that it is very much needed.

the problem is clearly getting worse on a day-to-day, basis. so, how will voters react to that?

i think the ndp may have missed their chance, frankly, and that trying to manage the fallout of a worsening pandemic on the campaign trail has the potential to truly wipe them out. i mean, if this explodes as the election is happening, what are voters going to do? vote for more of the same? vote for an escape? stay home?

i'm going to refrain from an analysis, only to point out that the situation is highly unpredictable, and that if the ndp think they're going to get an easy majority then they may be in for a rude surprise.

i would like to see the greens increase their standing, not diminish it. and, i hope that the protest vote turns out in force.
