actually, wait.

i'm going to alter the upper limit a little to account for the lower potential levels of absorption.

so, those numbers should have said:

55*.16 = 8.8 mg
65*.48 = 31.2 mg

x*.86 = 8.8 <--->x = 8.8/.86 = 10.2325581395 ---> 10 mg
x*.66 = 31.2 <---> x = 31.2/.66 = 47.2727272727----> 47 mg

(8.8/.86 + 31.2/.66)/2 = 28.7526427061 ----> 29 mg.

then,  26.56595/29 =0.91606724137--->92% & 47.2727272727/28.7526427061 = 1.64411764706 --->165%, a newer upper limit.

that could potentially make space for the salami.

it's times like this when you have to remember that these numbers are all estimates and that, while i'm not measuring error, it's rather substantive. what i wanted to do was make sure my carnitine intake was "reasonable", and i'm currently content that it is.

these numbers will quietly correct in the next update.
