i've had the modem turned off all day.

no response from the isp, yet. they've indicated that they're busy. i can wait a little, but not too much.

i'm going to powerwash the chromebook, and check the other account. i'm going to try to get a few things done this evening. and, then i'm turning the modem off for the full calendar day of the 24th.

i can catch up on sleep.

the spike in electricity on the morning of the 13th is consistent with somebody messing with the chromebook. so, it seems like they came in, realized that the laptop was disassembled and fucked with the chromebook, instead.

the device is easily reset, by design.

let's hope it's that easy. but, i need to be able to prove to myself that all traffic is being directed through my own modem, and not going through some secondary path to the cop upstairs.
