the market for psilocybin is very young people. this is a drug people do not keep doing as they mature, as it really legitimately turns people into idiots. there's a mystique around shrooms when you're 15; by the time you're 25, you will think mushrooms are crazy and that people that do them are idiots. you don't grow into this drug, you quickly realize it's intensity and grow out of it.

the upside is that psilocybin is not addictive, which is why you don't see mushroom users turning to criminal behaviour to fund their addiction. rather, people tend to do mushrooms a handful of times and then never speak of it again. while psilocybin users might have bad trips, mentally well people know that bad trips aren't real and don't actually harm others as a result of those bad trips; mushroom trips are a kind of controlled paranoia that borders on controlled schizophrenic episodes and mushroom users might tend to be somewhat belligerent and angry in their interactions with others as a result of that paranoia and what is essentially engaging in episodic behaviour, but they're mostly harmless dumbasses.

i don't consider what's happening in gaza to be a war and don't think that using the language of war is helpful, but all sides will want to utilize it for their own propaganda reasons. hamas is not a legitimate political organization, it's an organized crime network, and any action against hamas should be framed as a police operation to uphold the rule of law, not as a war. the israeli right will not see the situation in such terms, and the israeli government will continue to frame the issue as a war, in order to generate it's own ethnic nationalist jingoism. this is the basic problem here: all sides are on the far right, so it's impossible to align with any of them. i don't want to support a war, i want to support the assertion of the rule of law by the use of overwhelming state force, which is what is necessary in a region beset by rampant criminality and lawlessness. netanyahu is only useful as a temporary ally, as an abundantly clear lesser evil. the israeli state may not have been a clear lesser evil in past years when the palestinians were secular and marxist, but it is unquestionably a lesser evil when placed next to the deplorable and depraved hamas. much of the contemporary fake left is either disconnected from the political reality in gaza (hamas is not a left-wing proletariat resistance front struggling against colonialism, although past palestinian political organizations have been; hamas is a theocratic right-wing terrorist group funded by organized crime that wants to install a brutal fascist dictatorship in a region smaller than most cities. they're the "palestinian mafia" and they're out of control.), or doesn't actually care.

netanyahu is under intense pressure to get the hostages released, so you have to understand this in terms of israeli political pressure. he's trying to save himself, politically. we'll have to see if it works. the ceasefire is for four days, so i wouldn't get excited about it.

i'm not interested in israeli vengeance, but if they don't succeed in annihilating hamas and installing a legitimate civilian government as an expression of the rule of law, this was an expensive waste of time and that should cost netanyahu politically, as well. this process has to have a concrete result attached to it.

i apologize to sarah, but i have to post this. some kind of psychotic people of apparent arab descent and muslim faith seem to think they've purchased me in order to convert me to their depraved religion and enslave me, and while i'm vaguely piecing together what is happening, they seem to have been stalking me online for quite a while in order to build up a perception of me that is flawed, at best. i think they've consistently misinterpreted which person in various pictures is me.

i suspect that these people think i'm the girl on the right with the dreads because there seems to be an expectation that i should have dreadlocks. in fact, i'm not. that is a picture of me and my friend sarah, who i went to bc with; the girl with the dreads is sarah, not me. i'm the visibly more drunk one in the black shirt. that's at a bar in ottawa somewhere in early 2003; i don't remember where.

i have never had dreadlocks and actually think dreadlocks are absolutely fucking disgusting. sarah got the dreads put in because we were leaving for bc and she didn't want to get lice; that's the pragmatic, functional reality. i didn't get dreads put in and didn't get lice. i was not a fan of the dreads and not a fan of the shaved head that followed, but, hey, it's not my body, so it's not my choice.

i would never put dreads or braids in my hair. yuck. gross.

if you don't know me well, and you look at my recent pictures or vlogs online, you might decide i must be in the flannel, because i'm blonde. in fact, i'm not blonde at all, i have auburn hair, naturally. i dye it blonde, red and black, but i've been avoiding the black in recent years and probably won't do it again. i am actually the one in the lennon shirt; the blond in the flannel shirt is the singer from rabit is wolf, whose name is sean. sean is not transgendered, he's a pretty macho straight guy, and he wouldn't parade himself around like a poof in the way that i do, but he is a natural blond, which i am not.

i'm beyond frustrated by what's happening and want to find some way to get these assholes thrown in jail, but i'm currently focused primarily on dealing with facts and trying to chase losers and idiots off. i actually think they thought they were buying me as though i was a company and were expecting to profit from me by selling me in some way. it's a disturbing, fucked up scenario that i do not understand well.

you can use a fake address if you want. what should exist, specifically, is a moderate to small number of pictures of myself in my two pink tank tops, taken before i went out bicycling, as was the previous routine. i had an exercise uniform that year. there should also be pictures of me before i went to the university to type in november and december of 2022 and pictures of me before i got my health card picture taken in october, 2022.

are there videos? there might be. i don't recall anything specific, like walking back and forth to the store, but it's the kind of thing that might be there. i don't recall stopping anywhere to film on my bicycle rides. i think it's more likely that there were periodic videos taken of me riding the bicycle and videos taken of me at or around the hospital. the only videos of me that would have had shots of me would be pictures taken in the mirror before i left. i think.

i am not a sex worker and will not become one and that should be clear. my media is not sexualized, either. frankly, it would be pretty pathetic stuff to jerk off to. these pictures were not intended for a commercial purpose. i just want my media back for my own life narrative, so i have a record of what i looked like in the second half of 2022, as a blonde.

the media is focusing so overwhelmingly on these hospitals because the msm (which is one of the least reliable sources on the internet) has walked right into a pile of propaganda that was served up to it by taking advantage of it's drive towards clickbait sensationalism. western media is overwhelmingly capitalist; it wants to drive ad revenue. what hamas is doing is giving the media what it wants, click bait, which is driving the coverage it wants.

the reality is that this isn't at all ambiguous. it's been known for years that hamas operates out of schools, and they have been increasingly operating out of the hospitals. it's not just israeli intelligence claiming this, it's also us/nato intelligence as well as independent groups and ngos. 

hamas consequently has a clear motive to frame the issue in such a way as to victimize them, but it is not at all clear why israel would carry out these attacks, or why the pentagon would support their claims. the pentagon's use of israel is strategic; i can imagine few things less strategic than wantonly attacking a hospital or a school. further, israel has legitimate targets it needs to focus on. it makes no sense to think they'd spend all of these resources on blowing up a hospital (in the mean time, letting hamas get away) when they've stated what the goals of the operation are with such clarity and precision. if they are spending so many resources on controlling the hospital, it's because they think hamas is in there.

this is annoying because it's not just propaganda, and it's not just anti-jewish propaganda, and it's not just anti-jewish propaganda with deep anti-semitic tropes that are obviously being exploited for click bait (baby killing) but it's anti-jewish propaganda with anti-semitic tropes that takes almost no effort to deconstruct and discard as what it is.

the idf is a fallible human institution and it may turn out to have made an error, but the evidence is not pointing in that direction at the moment. further, some criticism at a granular level is no doubt warranted. however, even if they turn out to have been wrong, it makes no sense to accuse them of wantonly attacking hospitals, or to accuse the americans of supporting them doing it. this is clearly propaganda, and you may have fallen for it because the mainstream media walked right into pre-packaged click bait that was intended to manipulate it, and which is what it actually exists to sell, not balanced or truth-seeking journalism.

there was no justification for this attack. there might have been, but there was not; it was random and senseless. the verdict is correct.

i'm neither pro-israel nor anti-palestine, and i'm generally very critical of israel. but, i thoroughly reject ethnic nationalism and am strongly suspicious of anybody that wants to take a side in the conflict on moral grounds. that position is not there, intellectually; that is an emotional position. they're all depraved monsters.

at the moment, the correct position is to support israel as it destroys hamas. the kind of right-wing religious extremism behind the oct 7th attacks cannot be tolerated; wiping out organized crime networks like hamas is one of the very few legitimate expressions of state power. if we are to have states at all, they must fulfill this function. as i do not have allegiances to either side, you should expect my position to alter with the facts.

i consider western liberals that want to imagine that hamas is advancing their own intellectual causes, which they learned about in schools thousands of miles away, to be comically ignorant and flatly outright stupid. the term 'useful idiot' comes to mind.

more than anything else, i am opposed to taking sides in this conflict, as the conflict is stupid and there is no right side. the debate as to which ethnic group owns a piece of land is an absurd anachronism that we need to stop bothering with.

crombie is the best candidate.

doug ford is a weird candidate and a difficult opponent. his landslide election does not represent a swing to fiscal or social conservatism (although i worry about the latter premise), but is rather reflective of his popularity amongst a demographic that does not usually vote. what doug ford did to win was increase the size of the electorate.

it is likely that these non-voters will go back to not voting when ford is gone, or when they get bored with him. in the mean time, the liberals need to also increase the size of the electorate and bonnie crombie is the best option.

in fact, i'd suggest that crombie may even swing some of these ford non-voters based on her physical appearance.
