there are two lists of books that i'm going to be filling in, slowly:
both of those lists are partial right now and will continue to get filled out as i sort through essays i wrote and course syllabi over many years. another source of texts will be this blog which, if printed, would come in several thousand page volumes and is going to take a while to organize into a linear order. i've posted several lengthy research projects to this site that have involved reading quite a few online texts.
i was not able to get a list of books checked out at carleton because the server for the library crashed between 2013 and the time i asked, which i think was 2019ish. they lost all of the data before the crash. my records are incomplete. i checked at least 1000 books out of the library, and that doesn't include the ones i read in the library and never took home.
this will never be comprehensive but i'm aiming for 80% of a total read list.
i just bought the scarlet letter and the island of dr moreau, both for less than $10. at $20/month for now, and maybe $50/month when i'm done buying furniture, it will slowly rebuild, but i also need to direct it towards texts for the journal project, first.
the cds will fill in soon, too.
i'm currently scouring old drives for signs of a book list from 2002/2003 or from 2011, which are key maximal points. i currently only have two versions of one book list, from 2005/2006, and it's missing a huge amount of texts. i am sure these lists existed, but i'm having trouble locating one.
