i mean, it's easy to make this kind of naive argument about how they've been going after them for years and blah blah blah...

...but, it's kind of willful ignorance, isn't it? i mean, yes: these are the same architects of the invasion into iraq. but, they're also the same people involved in iran-contra, and that have been carrying through with these shady deals for years that nobody completely understands.

the bottom line is that it doesn't actually make any sense for the united states to invade iran at this point, and if they resort to doing so it will be due to a deficit of reason rather than something that can be easily pieced together and presented as an argument. it will be a wag the dog type operation to save the oval office, and probably doomed to fail before it starts.
