well, it's a silly question.
it's interesting to see them go
back to the oil princess, though. that screams american interference
looking for a "moderate" figurehead. i wouldn't expect the protestors to
buy that. she's as much of a target of corruption as the president. the
trial was politically motivated, but she's also notoriously corrupt.
don't let them force you to choose either/or. it's all of the above.
so,
the fundamental situation has not changed. there's still a corrupt
government in power. i wouldn't expect the situation on the ground to
change much.
of course, media will initially attempt to suggest otherwise.
