i'm going to take a good look at it.

but it may make more sense to build desktop 3 around the board in desktop 2, and then upgrade desktop 2 after all.

that machine is a beast, as it is. i can obviously connect to the internet with it. but, the minimum specs on new boards seem to be 16 gb. and, if i'm going to buy a board like that, it should be where it's needed, and put to better use than deployed to argue over youtube.
