it's more important that you make sure they understand that they could kill their grandparents (or their profs) if they're not careful, and get them to practice avoidance for a little while. yes, they're going to think it won't harm them, and 99.99% of them will be right to think that. but, if you make it about the people around them instead of about themselves, they might alter specific types of behaviour.
i don't even think you want to stop the spread of this thing amongst college students. let them build immunity. but, they need to understand what's going to happen if they infect the wrong people...
...and the elderly need to be aware of how dangerous it is for them to be around young people right now, too.
harm reduction means "protect the weak".
