they represent a far right, extremely social conservative political agenda that wants to turn the clocks back to the dark ages. as hitchens said, they pose as victims, but they aren't. they masquerade on the left, but they don't exist in it. they have tremendous wealth, tremendous influence and tremendous power. they pose a serious threat to the secular foundations of western democracy that needs to be taken seriously and blocked before it gets a toehold on power, which they will use to enforce their religion on everybody.
