what they're doing is trying to build a wall around a us-canada economic zone by unilaterally aligning with us policy in the hopes the white house will change it's mind, and it's so delusional and stupid that it's borderline treason. that is the way this should increasingly be looked at, as the canadian government continues to make decisions that are not in the best interests of canadians.
