the reality is that the american auto sector is reliant on these giant gas guzzling vehicles - suvs, trucks. they cram these devices down people's throats because they're profitable. this way of life is dying, and has to die. it would be justified to fight a war to shut this industry down forever.

banning the chinese evs is not what it looks like on the surface. it's not about protecting jobs. it's about protecting an absurd industry, and the profits it generates, on the back of the planet's sustainability.

the asian vehicle makers from japan, korea and now china give consumers what they want and give the planet what it needs to survive - compact vehicles designed for inner city use with good fuel economy. that's the future; that's the present.
