the reaction from bourgeois liberals is predictable and as bad if not worse. kennedy and trump are morons and their comments reflect it, but the basic point (which is most often attributed to dawkins in popular media) is unquestionably based in objective, demonstrable historical and contemporary fact, it's not some kind of white supremacist talking point. that liberal argument is sheer and utter idiocy; it is based in contemptible ignorance and overwhelming stupidity.
i would counter that the opposite idea - that insisting that the muslim world is not currently lost in a dark age that it needs some serious help getting out of - is fascist apologia based in a concept of alternative facts.
