i was as excited about el club as everybody else, but the programming has really taken a nose dive, hasn't it? it's become magic stick 2.0.

there were a few nights that i was there last year when the place was just dead. but, it just closes too early. and it's in a bad neighbourhood....

this is going to be the summer of hamtramck, methinks. so long as that bicycle holds out, anyways.

when i eventually replace it, i'll start bringing the replacement back to canada with me. but i just don't want that much rust in the house, and it's as safe where it is as it would be anywhere else.

i'll be lucky if it lasts the year. and, if it does, i'll just take the lock back with me and leave it somewhere for parts.
