as a precaution, i have:

- unplugged the laptop

- removed the laptop's battery

- disconnected the laptop's cmos battery

- disconnected the laptop's ram

if there's still something in there after that, i'm going to have to flash or reprogram the board, and i wonder - can i do it with a bus pirate?
