the rental market is experiencing a market failure. when a sector has market failure, governments need to step in.
we need governments to build more apartments, not the private sector. this is obvious. the longer it takes for that to happen, the worse it will be.
the government has indicated it's moving on this, finally, and i hope it is, but it hasn't happened yet.
