i do support expanded options for daycare, and i liked the ece model brought in by the dryden plan - something that isn't just babysitting. you gotta get to 'em when they're young.
but, to propose child care as a solution for a gai is pretty tone deaf, and, flatly, kind of stupid. what do these things have to do with each other, if you don't have children?
