as a secularist, i will argue that ecclesiastical/church/sharia/natural law is the
lowest form of law, and should be unenforceable by the state, unless it's adopted into positive law, first. that doesn't mean it can't be incorporated into real law, but, on it's own, it's a kind of fake law that exists in parallel to the real legal system and, until it's incorporated into real law, it has no legal force.
as a consequence, i have no respect for your religious rules and will not take them seriously in any sort of legal discussion at all.
