so, i'm not allowed to broadcast links again, and i actually suspect it has something to do with the stupid law they just passed to force google to pay these useless, parasitic "journalists" that mostly broadcast state propaganda, as though it's the link that's the content of this space, rather than the deconstruction of them.

there are no ads on this site; i've never made a dime from my analysis, and don't want to make money doing this, as it's just a corrupting factor. i do this for free, i give it away for free and i don't want it polluted by advertising. so, you can do the math - take your cut of nothing, as you will.

but, it's just a category error to begin with. i'm not hosting content - it's just wrong to look at it like this.

what i'm doing is either referred to in academia as a commentary, or is just basic research and essay writing. the only reason i post links - and i post them frequently, and don't intend to stop - is either as references (which is frequent) or so that the reader understands what i'm commenting on or am otherwise deconstructing. i'd lean strongly towards the idea that link sharing is advertising, but that's not what i'm doing - i'm not link sharing, i'm not advertising and i'm not hosting. all i'm doing is telling you what the topic of my deconstruction is, and then i'm posting original writing around it.

so, this is something that will need to get fixed on the backend - this site has nothing to do with the new regulations, and restrictions around broadcasting posts the way i'm doing it are not covered by the legislation.

that said, the way to get around it right now is to go back to posting links with spaces in between to avoid the algorithm

so, instead of posting a link to my bandcamp site, i'll have to post it like this:

h t t p : / / j a s o n p a  r e n t . b a n d c a m p . c o m

i can then immediately hit the back button in the browser, and replace it with a link, leaving the broadcast in my inbox.

that means you'll need a site like this if you're following along via email:
