i apologize for the video, but robert fripp is a strong advocate of intellectual property rights.

america...

you need to have an advisor with the president at all times. you can't let him go and talk to the saudis - or the israelis or the russians - by himself. there has to be somebody there to help him.

yeah, well, i didn't vote for him.

get some funding passed for primary education, for fuck's sake.
see, this was my initial intuition. after so many years of multidimensional chess - itself often overanalysed - analysts want to come up with some kind of plan.

i don't think there's any evidence for this, or at least not on the us side. everybody else has an agenda. for trump, i think it's as simple as the article presents it.

trump wanted to know who was funding extremists. the saudis told him the qataris are. he believed them. so, they tricked him into isolating the qataris. then, when he got home, he was told they weren't honest and he's changing his mind.

...because trump is not a ruthless dictator. he's a hapless fool.

ach!

scotland...

the tables have turned haven't they? it was just a few years ago that you were saying you needed to rid yourself of the british tories. and, now you've gone and undone what the british voted for.

i hope you're proud of yourself.
left: 311
right: 308
if you include sinn fein, and place the lib dems on the left, the numbers right now are:

left 308
right 307
they're at -14 and it's looking like it's going to be more like -20 by the end of the night.

the sinn fein seats do not exist, as they will not sit in parliament - unless corbyn can convince them to, which is highly unlikely. that's 7.

so, they need to get to -22 before they can consider voting in corbyn as prime minister. that would be a labour government with support from the scottish & welsh parties (which i think is proper...and would think an irish party would be proper, too, if they wanted to be in the uk in the first place), as well as the lib dems and one wayward irish unionist mp that leans left.

-22.

i actually think it's going to happen.

anything between -15 and -22 will give the lib dems the balance of power, unless corbyn can convince sinn fein to sit.
