what's happening in the west bank with the settlements is a genocide in slow motion, but the israelis have been abundantly clear that they don't want settlements in gaza because it's outside of historical judaea. gaza is where the philistines, a greek tribe that settled in the region during the bronze age collapse and is the etymological source of the term palestine, were from. there weren't jews in gaza during the biblical period.

that sounds crazy and it certainly is but it's also the reality of it. israel is happy to pile bodies into gaza like a prison, but it doesn't want control of it. unfortunately, what they learned in october is that that isn't sustainable and that they're going to need to assert more control over the region to maintain security at the border. the operation in gaza is best described as a police action, not a war or a genocide,

the way you phrase these questions is imperative if you want a ruling in your favour and my interpretation is that south africa flubbed the prosecution by making it about gaza instead of the west bank. yet, this is really a political ploy intended for home role south africans, who have seen minimal increases in their quality of life since the end of white rule. it turns out south africa wasn't about race after all, it was about class. this is a distraction tactic intended for internal consumption.

i think they should convert the palestinians back to judaism, as a start, and those that insist on fighting israel to the death deserve to die. this is a culture with no future.
