what bugs me about this is how oversimplified it is. i don't like the focus on "accountability", as though it's some kind of virtue. but, that's secondary. it's the oversimplification that's annoying. why? because now people are going to start spreading it around and misapplying it. this happens all the time.

i mean: yeah, sure. sometimes.

...but sometimes somebody else is at fault and deserves to be called out on it. denying that leads to backwards philosophical positions, like objectivism.

you can't take complicated things and condense them into universal statements over the course of three minutes in a youtube video. i really wish people would stop pretending they can and stop doing it...
