some nerds actually prefer the company of jocks to the company of geeks. i might categorize myself that way, although i don't really enjoy the company of either. i mean, it depends. some (most?) jocks are just impossibly stupid. but, your average geek is fucking shallow and flaky. on average, i think that the negative qualities of jocks are easier to deal with than the negative qualities of geeks.

of course, nerds are preferable. but there aren't a lot of us out there.
