if the conservatives are smart about this, they could really hurt the left. but, you don't have to define this in terms of markets or choice - you can define it in terms of access, and even argue to let the monopoly grow over time.

if the ndp position was decriminalization - and it was, for years - it makes sense to support private storefronts...at least for now, until the government can get it going.
