i want to vote for the atheist party that governs based on science, not on faith.

and, i suspect that contemporary republican nihilism is a more direct path to political atheism than contemporary democratic conservatism is.

it just needs the right direction.

so, if it were up to me, i'd let the democrats have the religious right and i'd focus on winning non-religious voters, instead.
