j reacts to the imminent and irreversible demise of pewdiepie

i told you this was coming. i did. you can't look it up, because i deleted it. but it's back there in the repressed part of your memory.

this is cyclical. it happens to all young teen crazes. for my age group, it was with the new kids on the block. the way it works is like this:

1) something gets popular with 12-13 year olds.
2) they grow out of it at 17-18.
3) they make fun of it as a part of the process of growing out of it.
4) the next batch of 12-13 year olds hears the 17-18 year olds making fun of it, and mimics them - thereby robbing the thing of the audience it needs to regenerate.
5) that pushes to the younger group.
6) the thing is dead, as a fad.
7) 20 years later, it's retro.

this video is at stage (5) of the process; the pewds is a dead man walking.

so, pewds..

when are you starting a metal band?

i mean, you've got the beard and the disgruntled swedish glower. it's gotta be leading to something.
