no, carbon taxes are not going to reduce emissions.

and, what they're calling a plan still isn't one.

i don't want a plan. plans were what we wanted in the 90s. i want action. like, now.

so, what does action look like?

it looks like massive investments, direct government spending, clear laws, jail time for corporate executives that don't fall in line, a complete overhaul of the regulatory framework of the country...

in 2020, climate action should be a budgetary item, not an aspirational goal.

they're not doing any of that - they're putting down a tax and telling the market to figure it out. and, that's not even a failed plan. that's a sidestep, that's apathy.

that's failure.
