well, i don't think the science supported cancelling most shows (i'd support canceling something like the dso, because the audience is older), and especially not bar shows, or closing the border in the first place...
so, as this is political, that's the question to ask - when is it going to be politically feasible to risk re-opening the border?
and, this is the shitty answer - after the next election.
i wouldn't expect the border to re-open until the sitting government regains it's majority or is replaced. it's painted itself into a corner, and it can't navigate it's way out. it may even be it's undoing. but, the party's newly sought after fake left base won't allow it to re-open the border until cases in the united states fall to near zero, and that is never going to happen.
the fact is that the number of deaths in this province hovers at around 10-20 per day, which is, in fact, borderline negligible.
