hi.

jessica....

i'm sorry about the late response, but the last few days have been confusing.

this is of course an absurd way to communicate, but there is simply not a number you can reach me at. i just don't need a phone, so i don't want to pay for one.

and, i don't understand why calling your office just rings. it could be that there's no number, maybe? the number i give you is a voip box, which is different than the way i call out, which is over google voice, and is not connected to a number at all. i'm essentially calling you from my gmail address.

so, i'm happy to do a phone appointment in principle, and the date and time are fine, but you have to give me a number to call that actually connects or it's not going to work.

but, i have an idea, because i do suspect that when i call it is ultimately getting screened, and discarded as a telemarketer or something.

i will call you today from google voice at exactly 13:00. you will know it's me because i've told you ahead of time. it may say "unknown number" or some other weird thing, but that's because it's over the internet, and there is actually no number to come up.

if that connects, we can talk about what to do when it does.

if it does not, the only way this can work is if you give me a number to call.
