it seems like we're going to see a return to "assad-is-boogeyman" type messaging from the media, with all kinds of anti-assad propaganda designed to pave the way for an eventual regime change. and, where they previously funded isis and told us they were funding "moderate jihadists", it's not clear that they're going to bother with the bullshit this time. they may just give isis direct air support.
the democrats seem to be aligned with the saudis in their desire for regime change in syria, and what that's going to look like if they win is going to be an absolute catastrophe for the syrian people.
and, so i stand with the people of syria against this aggression, as i have from the start. and, i hope we didn't miss our chance to pull isis out by the roots and put it through a mulcher.
