i spent a fair amount of time with the second garbage record, but it was quite obviously a very big shift in sound and it just didn't have the aesthetic that i liked about the first one. there's some high points, but it was a pretty hard shift out of abstract electro-goth-pop and into more traditional disco-funk, with a few ballads. so, it didn't keep my interest...

i only listened to the third one a few times.
