climate change is a vote driver in canadian politics.
but, i ultimately don't care very much about the conflict in the levant (in a conflict between one type of right-wing extremism and another, and that has no relevance to my life whatsoever, i'll sit it out - but that could change if one of the parties adopts more appropriate political positions), and don't think it's worth destroying the party over - but, here we are.
the so-called "left" will never get anywhere, and i'd advise young people against wasting their time with it. we have an existential climate crisis on our hands, and they'd rather bicker about religion and ethnic nationalism.
