how many people can canada actually support in a way that most people are comfortable? how much housing can we build? what are the limits around us?
these aren't empty questions, and they have derivable answers - we just need to build the models to understand it. and, we may have forgotten that this is the kind of thing government is supposed to do, rather than just act as a layer between taxation and corporate welfare.
