so, i don't know where those numbers are coming from, exactly, but what they're not taking into account is that marijuana is an economy of scale.

a dime bag is usually quite a bit less than a gram, nowadays - typically even pushing towards more like a half a gram. but, the same person that sells you a half a gram of shake for $13 is going to offer you a quarter of dank bud for $60 and that's where you see prices get under $10.

a lot of people are going to be legitimately surprised when they see how big a gram actually is, and happily pay $10 for something they're used to paying $15 for.

but, if the price doesn't scale, the province is going to forfeit the top end of the market, leaving the store fronts to cater to casual users.
