actually, i think i'm going to start doing both, but in different ways.

if i vigorously brush before i eat with a medium toothbrush, maybe it'll help clear shit out of there before i put food in. then, if i repeat with a soft tooth brush after i eat, maybe it'll help clear out food without damaging the enamel further.

yes, i should have done this research a long time ago, but i didn't need to....
