he also suggested i may be brushing too hard, and there's a bit of a counterintuitive component to this.

if you brush too hard, and especially in the presence of dry mouth and in a higher acidity environment, you eliminate the gumline as a defense again erosion, actually contributing to tooth decay.

so, i may be doing too much.

but the basic problem is dehydration and everything else would be solved if i could solve that - something i've realized for quite a while, now.
