again: the tory media is 100% behind the conservatives, and it thinks that the way to win the election is to convince liberal supporters to vote ndp, thereby splitting the vote. it knows it can't convince liberal voters to swing tory.
but, the conservatives are actually running too low right now for that to even work. and, frankly, so are the ndp.
so, you when you see a headline in the toronto sun saying "singh's numbers soar!", or whatever it said, you need to put that into context. these are tory media propaganda outlets, and it's clear as day what they're doing.
sure, i might be wrong - that's tautological. we'll find out in a day or two. but, as of right now, there has not been any significant movement in canada towards the ndp after the debates, and suggestions that there has been are disingenuous, and rooted in bad (on purpose) math.
the only significant polling movement we've been seeing is from the ndp to the bloc in quebec, which was predictable enough at the start of this.
the liberals are supposed to do better than this
