no, eric. it was obvious. or, at least, it was obvious that the liberals wouldn't be the beneficiary of the ndp's collapse (which, in quebec, appears to be total).

the question was whether quebec was going to swing bloc or green. they were never going to vote liberal, and they were never going to vote alberta, i mean conservative. and, it looks like the bloc won that argument.

but, i suspect the liberals are about to do very, very well in ontario.

the tory media, who still hates his father, wants it to be 1972 so they can bring out their old pinatas; i think it's more like 1997, and the dauphin is reaching to fill the shoes of the old court jester, rather than the old king. this is no ancien regime...but it does look like another majority.
