i would encourage canadians to respond to the retaliatory tariffs by boycotting canadian producers, and leaving their money in the bank, instead, until this is done.

let's force a recession, canada. let's tear the system down.

and then let's get rid of this maga stooge in the pmo.
i am strongly opposed to retaliatory tariffs on american goods and would call for a vote of non-confidence in the house of commons to dissolve the government in response to this decision.

retaliatory tariffs do not protect canadian sovereignty, they are a vicious attack on the canadian working class that will hike the cost of living and lead to immense job losses.

i neither want to buy more canadian goods nor do i want to pay higher taxes on american goods; i want to tear my government down and replace it with a new one.
canada should wait for a new us administration before signing any agreements with the united states.

if i was carney, i might even choose not to accept calls from donald trump or his cronies.
trump's dishonest negotiating process is predictable at this point.

1. he tells you his demands.
2. you probably reject them
3. he makes concessions verbally to get you to agree
4. then he writes an agreement with the initial demands he amended verbally

you're supposed to get tricked into signing for the initial demands after verbally agreeing to the concessions. but nobody should be tricked by this anymore. you have to demand he puts it in writing up front.

if you don't sign it, he accuses you of breaking the deal or walking back the concessions.
